Greg ZoBell, 2021 Award recipient

Greg ZoBell is a 4th year dental student who will be graduating in June 2022 at the University of Alberta. Greg is of Cree ancestry and is a member of the Ahtahkakoop Cree First Nation. He is married to his wife Leah and together they have one young son.

Greg is excited to continue for another year at the University of Alberta in a General Practice Residency program, where he will gain more experience in hospital based and emergency dentistry, as well as more complex clinical work.

Greg hopes to use this experience to one day help improve access to proper oral health care in rural Indigenous communities in Canada.
