Ange Cullen, 2024 award recipient

Ange is in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Music. As a passionate advocate for both the arts and mental health, she has hosted events at the University of Alberta and contributed to initiatives that revitalize traditional arts and practices during her time there. 

Ange is of Dene ancestry and proudly represents the Harrold family from Fort Nelson, British Columbia. She is working toward a career in psychology and looks forward to applying her knowledge to strengthen her home community in British Columbia. Ange is honoured to be a recipient of the Gwiizii ts'àt gwitàatsàh award, which supports her continued studies and work in these areas.
